The gorgeous and hilarious, Anna Kendrick from the newly released Pitch Perfect 2, has starred in a second episode of Kate Spade New York’s Misadventure series (the first, which debuted in time for the holidays last November, showed her getting locked out of her apartment with her dog and a collection of shopping bags), Anna escapes wintery New York with her cute, Brussels Griffon dog, Milos, in tow and lands in sunny L.A. All is looking rosey and warm while Kendrick sips on a cup of tea but things change very quickly.

Dimitri Dimitrov (Hollywood’s most famous maître d’ of the renowned, Sunset Tower Hotel)  mistakes Kendrick for a meditation instructor and  quickly whisks her off to the hotel’s penthouse for a private meditation session with comedian Lily Tomlin.

Though Anna tries to object, Lily insists that they should ‘just begin’ – and the dumbfounded star quickly goes into improvisational mode.

Always making the best out of every situation, embraces spontaneity and tries her best to create a zen atmosphere. She looks to her flamingo necklace for inspiration and decides to swing it back and forth. As both ladies inhale the powerful ambiance of the bird.

‘We’re among the clouds, and we look down… and we see our feet. And your super cute shoes,’ she adds, as she searches around for inspiration for other things to help her get through the session.

Finding a fish-shaped handbag from within her own belongings, Anna moves on to a water-based meditation, chanting: ‘We glide through the water toward our personal truth, we glide… We swim.’

Anna then takes out what she pretends is her ‘magical chanting flamingo’, gesturing with Kate Spade New York’s ‘Bird’s the Word’ mini pendant, before claiming: ‘There were ten flamingos present when the Beatles wrote the White Album.’

Kendrick chants, “Pink is the colour of the most positive energy in the world.”
