Brown Sugar brand ambassador

As I mentioned on my last Brown Sugar post, a few weeks I was asked to become a brand ambassador for Brown Sugar. I’m not sure whether I was chosen because of my addiction to Brown Sugar’s online store/ their Williamstown store or if they love this site?!?

Either way, I am very grateful and ecstatic to have been chosen and I look forward to bringing you all the latest from Brown Sugar well into the new year.

Brown Sugar has stood the test of time and, like me, Brown Sugar has been making its mark in Australia since 1975 ( a good vintage ;)).
For pieces that don’t age (apparently, like me), Brown Sugar has strong contemporary items on offer. It’s a label for a self-assured woman who knows exactly what she wants, a woman after quality and timeless style. Sounds just like someone describing me, doesn’t it? No wonder Brown Sugar and I are a perfect fit!

Speaking of perfect fits, to say I am slightly obsessing about the silk dress (in the above picture), would be an understatement. How gorgeous is it?  I think it would be one of those items in your wardrobe that would be on high rotation, as it could be dressed up or down and still look gorgeous. It is definitely on my purchase list in the next week or so.
During the last week, I ventured into my local Brown Sugar store in Williamstown to spend a gift voucher I was kindly gifted by the ladies at Brown Sugar for becoming a brand ambassador. I also received 40% off with the Sweet Chance scratchie offer Brown Sugar are running until the 24th of this month.
So what did I buy? (Clockwise from left) Sateen Slim Capri pants in Cobalt blue ($79.97), Stitch V-Neck Tee in Peony ($49.95), Lace Shell top in Black ($79.95) and Colour Block Pleat Neck Dress ($99.95).
I must tell you the dress is incredibly flattering on. I have never had a dress look so good. It skims over ‘bumps’ and highlights the waist and chest. I now like to term it my ‘miracle dress!’. The compliments and “Have you lost weight?” I receive when wearing it is a lovely confidence boost.
How gorgeous is the lace shell top? I’m looking forward to wearing this on Friday night with green jeans and faux green snake skin sandal heels.
The cobalt blue (my favourite colour at the moment) capri pants will also be  a well worn item in my wardrobe. I can wear it with cute flats and a tee for days with the boys and school drop off/ pick up, with heels and a gorgeous top for lunch/dinner out or to the movies.
The cute peony pink tee is an essential. I can wear it with the cobalt pants, 3/4 length jeans or pants, a maxi skirt or knee length floral skirt.
What do you think of the items I bought? I can’t wait to bring you more news and fashion ideas from Brown Sugar. Stay tuned!
