From 11 July 2010, Clinique is calling for dancers across Australia to help raise funds for youth cancer by joining their Virtual 3-Step Dance Party. For every person who joins at www.cliniquetv.com.au, Clinique will donate $1 to the charity You Can, plus Kate Wormald from Season One of So You Think You Can Dance is also supporting the cause by creating her own 3-Step Dance. The fresh little dance sets the scene for the launch of Clinique’s 3-Step Virtual Dance Party, where fellow dancers are invited to start their own 3 Step party online and upload a photo or video of their own interpretation of the 3-Step Dance. It’s easy—these interactive celebrations take place exclusively online, so you don’t have to go anywhere or be a fantastic dancer. Start your own party or join a friend’s, and invite everyone you know to join the fun. It’s all for a great cause: for every person who joins a Virtual 3-Step Dance Party, Clinique will donate $1 to You Can. The bigger your party, the better your chances for winning prizes, which include Sony Bandit Music Cards, Fitness First health club memberships and Brasilfit active wear. Here’s how it works: Step 1: Try 3-Step FREE. Visit any Clinique counter to receive your FREE 3-Step Skin Care sample: Cleanse with Facial Soap, Exfoliate with Clarifying Lotion and Moisturise with Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion or Gel.
Step 2: Start your party and learn the 3-Step Dance. Go to cliniquetv.com.au to register your Virtual 3-Step Dance Party or just join a friend’s party and learn the 3-Step Dance from Kate Wormald. Upload your own video or photo and share your 3-Step Dance moves.
Step 3: Invite your friends and help support You Can. The more people who participate, the more support for You Can! Clinique will donate $1 to You Can for every person who joins a Virtual 3-Step Dance Party.
“Dance is such a huge phenomenon at the moment and represents an ideal fit for the 3- Step Virtual Dance campaign, given its ability to transcend age and cultural boundaries. We have made it easy by bringing dance to the digital space so anybody can join and help show their support with the fight against Youth Cancer,” says Therese Waters, Communications & Digital Marketing Manager, Clinique. Courtney Goddard of Sony Foundation Australia adds “Clinique’s Virtual 3-Step Dance Party is a fun and easy way for the public to get involved with raising money to establish youth cancer centres throughout Australia. The creation of these new centres almost guarantees an increase in the survival rates of Australian teenagers with cancer. We are honoured to have the support of the prestigious and youthful brand that is Clinique.” So Step to it. Help fight youth cancer by joining Clinique’s Virtual 3-Step Dance Party now at cliniquetv.com.au.
Registration opens July 11th 2010 and closes 28th of August 2010.
