April Movie Releases at HOYTS
Can you believe April is here already? This year seems to be flying by. There are some great movies being released this month at HOYTS, including the early awaited “Challengers” starring Zendaya and the highly acclaimed, Civil War. The film stars Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Cailee Spaeny, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Nick Offerman. Its plot follows a team of journalists who travel across the United States during a rapidly escalating Second American Civil War, which has engulfed the entire nation. Horror films are plenty with The First Omen, Late Night with The Devil and Abigail. From K-Pop to Amy Winehouse to a listening party for Pearl Jam’s newest album, music fans will find something they will love. Ryan Gossling stars in The Fall Guy, alongside Emily Blunt, which is loosely based off an 80s TV show of the same name.

April 4th
Before Dawn
Based on real-life war diaries, Before Dawn is an epic retelling of one of Australia’s biggest victories during WW1. Screening at select HOYTS locations.
Monkey Man
A recently released ex-felon living in India struggles to adjust to a world of corporate greed and eroding spiritual values. See it in HOYTS D-BOX Motion Recliners for an action-packed experience where you’ll feel every movie moment.
Richard the Stork and the Mystery of the Great Jewel
Enjoying wintering on a large lake in North Africa, Richard learns that this time he will not be entrusted with such an honourable and responsible mission as to lead the flight of a flock of storks home to the north. Not wanting to put up with this, he runs away on an independent journey full of dangers and adventures.

The First Omen
A young American woman ventures to Rome, ready to dedicate her life to the church. However, what begins as a noble path quickly spirals into a harrowing confrontation with darkness, shaking the very foundation of her faith. The Tiger’s Apprentice
The story centres on a normal boy, Tom, who gets drawn into this world against his wishes when his eccentric grandmother turns out to be the guardian of the phoenix egg.
Viva La Vida (Mandarin, English Sub)
When the “brainless” Luu Tu (played by Peng Yuchang) encounters the “grumpy” Ling Min (played by Li Gengxi), two young individuals suffering from serious illnesses but with drastically different personalities, inadvertently embark on a healing journey filled with love and strength. April 10th

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (Hindi, English Sub)

Late Night With the Devil

April 16th
Pearl Jam – Dark Matter – Global Theatrical Experience – One Night Only
A musical experience set to be unlike any other record premiere event. Pearl Jam fans will be among the very first to hear the band’s new record Dark Matter on April 16 in select cinemas around the world. First in a dark cinema with just the music playing and then a second time experiencing the record with added visuals onscreen during playback. Screening at select HOYTS locations. Please note this is a listening event, not a film.
April 18th
Challengers
Tashi, a tennis player turned coach, has transformed her husband from a mediocre player into a world-famous grand slam champion. To jolt him out of his recent losing streak, she makes him play a challenger event — close to the lowest level of the tournament on the pro tour. Tensions soon run high when he finds himself standing across the net from the once-promising, now burnt-out Patrick, his former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend.
