Zambrero Launches Limited-time Nourish+ Bowls and Burritos

Zambrero, Australia’s leading modern Mexican restaurant group, has launched Nourish+, a new limited time only range of bowls and burritos built for people who want real food that actually does something for them.

Stacked with high-fibre, high-protein, low-GI ingredients and layered with bold, fresh flavour, Nourish+ is the answer to a question the wellness community has been asking for years. Why can’t healthy food taste great too?

The numbers tell the tale. A regular serving of a grilled chicken with Chipotle sauce Nourish+ bowl contains approximately 26 grams of protein, 47 grams of carbohydrates and around 611 calories. Numbers that work as hard as you do. Whether you’ve just crossed a finish line, hit the gym before sunrise, or are simply making a conscious choice to fuel your body better – Nourish+ was built with you in mind.

At the heart of the Nourish+ bowl is black rice – a low-GI, high-fibre, antioxidant-rich grain that delivers sustained energy.. Blended through with amaranth seeds, each bowl is packed with additional plant-based protein and fibre before a single topping is added.

The base is loaded with whole black beans – slow-digesting, nutrient-dense and exceptionally high in both protein and fibre – ingredients that release energy slowly, keeping you sustained for longer. Customers can choose from a range of premium proteins – grilled chicken, barbacoa beef, beef mince, pork, lamb, pulled mushroom  – all prepared fresh in-store. They can also choose from Zambrero’s sauces including Trezigo, Basilo, Chipotle, Garlic, Red Chilli, Secret BBQ and Verde.

Nourish+ doesn’t sacrifice taste in pursuit of nutrition. A vibrant kale slaw – a hand-massaged blend of kale, red cabbage and carrot – is dressed with Zambrero’s bespoke Trezigo sauce: a zingy lime, garlic and coriander dressing that transforms the greens into something genuinely craveable.

Pickled red onions deliver a hit of acid and brightness. Fresh guacamole brings healthy fats. House-made tomato salsa adds freshness. And a crunch mix – toasted pepita seeds, black and white sesame, crispy garlic, crispy shallots and Zambrero’s secret bespoke spice blend – finishes the bowl with texture and depth. Every element has a purpose.

For those watching refined carbohydrates, Nourish+ is also available as a burrito wrapped in Zambrero’s gluten-free spinach and hemp-seed tortilla – that works for coeliacs, gluten-free eaters, or anyone simply wanting to keep things lighter.
