Decorate Your Home For Easter

Get creative this Easter; from vases filled with decorative eggs and flowers to sophisticated linen napkins with an egg in the middle or paper Easter bunny napkins and placemats (like the gorgeous set below from Provincial Living), here are a few ideas to decorate your home for Easter:

On my kitchen bench, I have used a Country Road vase and filled it with decorator eggs from Bed, Bath and Table and added faux tulips from Provincial Living. The bunnies, also from Provincial Living, finish off the look.

  • Create an Easter tree; fill a vase with branches from the garden – or buy some from Bed, Bath and Table, Myer etc- and add mini hanging eggs, bunnies, and chickens for an instant style update. Place on a sideboard, in the dining area or in the hall to add a warm welcome to guests. You can also make

  • Hang an Easter wreath on your door. An Easter wreath is a lovely way to add some Easter cheer to your front door.

  •  Fill jugs with Autumn blooms and place them around the house. Vases filled with Easter eggs are also a great decorative feature.

  •  Display a basket, bowl or plate filled with eggs – whether from chickens or chocolate- to give your home an Easter feel.

  • Tablescape – Easter napkins, beautiful floral dinnerware and vintage glasses. Scatter a few decorative eggs around the table and fill small vases with seasonal flowers (like roses, dahlias or chrysanthemums) for an instant table update.

  • Add a decorative egg to each place setting. For something personal for your guest, decorate the egg and add their name to it.

  • Food. Of course, food is essential for Easter, especially Hot Cross Buns, Easter-decorated cakes and baked goods, like the delicious range from Ferguson Plarre. Ferguson Plarre’s Bakehouse is offering something for everyone this hot cross bun season. The family-owned bakehouse has rolled out its tried-and-true traditional hot cross bun recipe, which has been perfected over 120 years, while also introducing a new bun-in-a-million Easter mashup, JAMpacked Jam Donut Hot Cross Buns.
Ferguson Plarre’s range of delicious flavours extends to perfectly balanced Raspberry & White Chocolate (pictured below), delicately spiced Apple & Cinnamon, and decadent Choc Chip.
