Jennifer Lawrence fronts new Dior campaign
When Jennifer Lawrence isn’t fighting the Capital in the latest Hunger Games movie she’s busy looking far more feminine as the face of Dior’s latest campaign.
The campaign, which includes a new range for the Northern Hemisphere spring, features Lawrence wearing minimal make-up, poised as “a youthful sophisticate.” Along with the clothing range, Lawrence also models the range of new Dior handbags.
Lawrence has been modelling for Dior since 2012, following on from other actors including Mila Kunis and Marion Cotillard.
Creative director Raf Simons, who originally chose Lawrence for a role at Dior, said choosing Lawrence was an easy one.
“Like the whole world I first discovered Jennifer Lawrence as a young action hero.”
“Her youth and classic beauty, but also the feminine strength and complexity that she can portray at such a young age are, for me, very unique and very appealing.”
The photos were shot by famous photographer Patrick Demarchelier.
Lawrence will on the big screen again shortly when The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 is released Thursday, 20 November 2014.
