Marie Claire Sussan VIP event. What is in for winter 13?

Last Tuesday night, I attended the Sussan Marie Claire VIP event held at Sussan’s new store in Highpoint Shopping Centre, Melbourne.

What could be better than champagne, shopping, 20% off at one of my favourite stores and finger food? Oh and a $50 gift card* to spend!

Of course, Marie Claire showcased the latest in trends and styling from Sussan’s range. Two huge things this season a) layers, layers, layers and b) knits!

Other key items were jeggings (there were so many different patterns, colours and designs!!), leather, baroque, poncho or knit coats and a lot of chunky knits. Below is the coated jegging with check poncho. The key look is to layer big knits over streamlined pants like leggings, jeggings or skinny jeans. Just make sure your top pieces are longer than your butt, leggings are not pants!!

How lovely is this open link scarf? Also loving the baroque jeggings and anthracite tote bag.

What did I buy with my $50 gift card* and 20% off? I bought the High low utility shirt, which I plan on layering with a cardi and scarf or a light knit with a coat over the top.

The Mother’s Day gift ideas are just gorgeous! I wouldn’t mind any of the Mother’s Day piece’s (hint hint boys!!).
How cute are the wheat animals, the dog door stopper and I love the chevron throw rug.
Love the pink and gold tea cup sets and the pink chevron set is lovely. Sussan is THE place to go for gorgeous pj set’s and separates. In fact, Sussan is where I buy all of my pj’s from but I need some more for the upcoming winter season.

All of the gift ideas are available online the Sussan website gift section or in your local Sussan Store.

*I was kindly invited to the Sussan Marie Claire event by Brand meets Blog. $50 voucher was gifted to me by Sussan on the night. This post is in accordance with our Disclosure Policy
