WSS Travel: Nesuto Hotel and The District Docklands
Welcome to Melbourne’s newest 4-star hotel (a $100 Million hotel to be exact), Nesuto Docklands. Situated in the heart of the Docklands entertainment and shopping district, the hotel offers stunning city and waterfront views from 211 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments across 13 floors. The hotel offers 24-hour reception and a bag-holding room. Nesuto Docklands is a short walk to Marvel Stadium and an easy tram ride into the CBD. The hotel is situated in The District Docklands, which offers a huge array of shopping, entertainment and fun.
‘Nesuto’ translates to ‘nest’ in Japanese, so it makes sense that this hotel was created to be somewhere you can really make yourself at home. Netsuto has 14 hotels across Australia and New Zealand, but the new Docklands hotel is the Japanese brand’s first in Victoria.
Each suite is equipped with a full kitchen (there’s a Woolworth’s supermarket downstairs, so you can whip up some meals), internal laundry in the one and two-bedroom apartments, expansive living and dining areas with separate bedrooms (with the most comfortable beds you will ever sleep in), well-appointed bathrooms with full baths and rainfall showers, and a gymnasium for guests at the newly-build apartment hotel. While also offering guests unlimited WiFi and Google Chrome Cast TV. Nesuto Docklands’ modern apartment-style suites have all the practical features to make the hotel a comfortable home away from home.
As you can see, the apartments are well appointed and suit everyone, from people staying for business, attending events at Marvel stadium or for family getaways.
For breakfast the next morning, we highly recommend Daybreak Café, which is downstairs from the hotel. Amazing food and service and huge coffees, what more could you ask for?
