Curvy Couture is partnering with the VAMFF Cultural Program for its second year in 2015, presenting the Curvy Couture Runway on Saturday March 7th.
Splitting the event into two, the focus this year for the Curvy Couture Roadshow, is on giving their loyal fans and fashion lovers a chance to experience a full weekend of Plus Size Fashion.
Curvy Couture Runway, as part of the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF) Cultural Program, is an evening event on Saturday 7th March, 2015. It will be held at Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI), the perfect surrounds for a sophisticated night of fashion.
A diverse range of fashion for women of all ages will grace the Curvy Couture Runway with all designs being ready to wear size 14 plus, a point of difference to near all other runway shows. Exclusively sponsored by industry leader and proud body positivity advocates, Bella Model Management, the Curvy Couture Runway will see a mix of professional plus size models and local Melbourne street models.
The Curvy Couture Market will begin with an exclusive VIP shopping hour which will include styling sessions from popular local fashionistas and Curvy Couture Runway models. The market will be a great chance for fashion lovers to buy direct from the designers and makers but will also be a rare event where the local plus size community can meet and grow.

The 2014 Curvy Couture event was one of the most highly anticipated shows of the plus size fashion calendar. With over 600 patrons filling the gorgeous surrounds of the North Melbourne Meat Market, the event brought fashion-hungry women together with 20 independent Australian and New Zealand designers and over 20 professional and local street models, celebrating all things size 14+.
Featuring in the Australian Women’s Weekly, The Daily Mail UK and countless blogs around the country, Curvy Couture provided the legitimacy and acknowledgment the Australian Plus Size fashion industry needed.
Showcasing big-name and independent plus size designers and local Melbourne models, the Curvy Couture Runway 2015 will be a stunning runway spectacular.
