6 Delicious Foods And Drinks That Must Be On Your Christmas Dinner Table

Christmas is my favourite time of the year. I love watching Christmas movies, eating gingerbread cookies and drinking hot cocoa in front of a fireplace during the cold winter months. But nothing beats sitting down with my family to enjoy delicious food like honey glazed ham or turkey alongside mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans! This year, don’t be afraid to get creative with your dishes-the best memories are often made out of traditions that are unique to your own family. Whether you prefer traditional classics or new twists on old favourites, there’s something for everyone at this year’s holiday table!

Rum

The holidays are a time of year when we all come together and celebrate what we love. This is the perfect time to share with family and friends, enjoy good food and drinks, and create memories that will last a lifetime. The best way to celebrate this season is by cooking up a storm with some premium spiced rum at home! The holiday season offers plenty of opportunities for entertaining your guests. You can serve rum before dinner as a palate cleanser and to get everyone toasty and in good spirits, or use it in mixed drinks throughout the evening. Of course one of our favorite ways to enjoy a bit of rum is by mixing it into delicious desserts like pies or cakes! Nothing quite says “Christmas” quite like a boozy Christmas trifle with whipped cream on top.  So this year, make sure to add a bottle or two of rum to your shopping list and get festive in the kitchen!

Fruitcake

I know, I know. Fruitcake is one of those Christmas foods that often gets a bad reputation. But if you make it right, it can be a delicious treat! This year, try out a new recipe for fruitcake or give your old recipe a new twist. Instead of using dried fruits and nuts, why not try adding some fresh fruit like cranberries or cherries? You could also add some chocolate chips or other delicious ingredients to really make your cake stand out. And don’t forget the frosting! A sweet and creamy frosting will really make your fruitcake stand out. So this year, don’t be afraid to try something new with this classic Christmas dessert.

Pecan Pie

There’s nothing quite like a warm and delicious pecan pie served fresh from the oven on Christmas day. This year, why not try out a new recipe or give your old recipe a new twist? You could also add some spices like cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavor. And don’t forget the icing! A sweet and creamy icing will really make your ginger cookies stand out. So this year, take your ginger cookies to the next level with a new and delicious recipe.

Mashed Potatoes

Mashed potatoes are a classic Christmas dish that everyone loves. This year, why not try out a new recipe or give your old recipe a new twist? Instead of using milk or cream, try using some broth or even melted butter. You could also add some delicious spices like garlic or rosemary for extra flavor. And don’t forget the gravy! A delicious gravy will really enhance your mashed potatoes. So this year, take your mashed potatoes to the next level with a new and delicious recipe.

Eggnog

Eggnog is one of those drinks that often gets a bad reputation. But if you make it right, it can be great! This year, try out a new recipe for eggnog or give your old recipe a new twist. Try adding some vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg to create more flavor. Or even add some ingredients like chocolate sauce or caramel syrup for a delicious twist on classic eggnog.

Christmas is a time for family traditions, and that includes the food! The dishes you serve on Christmas day should be delicious, but also creative. Give traditional recipes a new twist or try something entirely new so your dinner table always stands out.
