The latest trend to sweep across Hollywood’s red carpets are the stunningly rare and effortlessly stylish black diamonds, as seen on A-listers like Jay Z, Emily Blunt and Julie Bowen. The uniqueness of the black diamond is best captured in Carrie’s iconic proposal in Sex and the City where she receives a black diamond engagement ring because she’s “not like anyone else.”

A classic for a reason, white diamonds symbolise cleanliness, purity and kindness. A firm favourite among wealthy celebrities, white diamonds can be seen adorning the likes of Kim Kardashian, Angelina Jolie and Beyoncé.
