Jennifer Lawrence’s Beverly Hills Mansion is just gorgeous

Jennifer Lawrence isn’t just coming up in the world of acting, the 24 year old award winning actor is also winning in the game of property ownership.

Lawrence has purchased a Beverly Hills home which consists of five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, a stone courtyard, koi pond and in-ground pool spread across 511 square metres. The layout is designed as “shabby chic in its quintessential iteration.”

Despite only being built in 1991, the house was owned by Ellen DeGeneres and Jessica Simpson previously. Jennifer Lawrence is rumoured to have purchased the property for $6.4 million.

The interior was designed by Rachel Ashwell of Shabby Chic Couture….so it’s not the least bit surprising that it looks the way it does! Although, we would say the interiors have more of a Hamptons style about it. If you’re interested in a similar style, check out our Hamptons style guide.

Jennifer Lawrence’s latest movie, The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1, hit cinemas last week and has already made (at the time of writing) US$394 million at the box office.

Jennifer Lawrence’s best known performance as Tiffany Maxwell in the David O. Russell-directed romantic comedy Silver Linings Playbook (2012) earned her several awards, including the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress (Musical or Comedy) and the Academy Award for Best Actress, making her the second-youngest Best Actress winner at the Oscars.

For her supporting role in Russell’s comedy-drama American Hustle (2013), she was awarded the Golden Globe Award, the BAFTA Award and received a third Academy Award nomination, all for Best Supporting Actress.

Of course, Lawrence has a huge following for her role as Katnis Everdeen in The Hunger Games series of movies.

In 2014, Lawrence was ranked #1 on the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World list. She also topped the Forbes list of Most Powerful Actresses and was ranked No. 12 in the list of Celebrity 100.  In August 2014, Lawrence was named the second-highest-paid actress in Hollywood behind Sandra Bullock, making her the youngest actress in the top 10.

Obviously, after such a fantastic year, Jennifer Lawrence can afford to reward herself with a new home.
