March Movie Releases At HOYTS

March is here and so is a packed month of movies. If you love horror movies, you’re in for a treat with Imaginary and Winnie The Pooh: Blood & Honey 2. Kids (and big kids) will be excited to see the fourth instalment of Kung Fu Panda. For music buffs, you can enjoy classic musical tunes with My Favourite Things: The Rodgers & Hammerstein 80th Anniversary Concert or if rock and roll is more your thing, Hate to Love: Nickelback will rock your world or there’s Waitress: The Musical.

After a laugh? The mystery comedy Wicked Little Letters might tickle your fancy or check out Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (come on, who doesn’t love Paul Rudd?).

March 7th

The Great Escaper

  • Bernard Jordan (Michael Caine) escapes from his care home to attend the 70th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings in France.

Imaginary

  • From Blumhouse, the genre-defining masterminds behind FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S and M3GAN, comes an original horror that taps into the innocence of imaginary friends.

Luca (for the first time in cinemas)

  • The original animated feature is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides.

See it in D-BOX where you’ll feel it all in motion recliner seats that move in sync with the on-screen action.

Yolo (Mandarin, Eng Sub)

  • After an argument with her younger sister, Le Ying moves out on her own. She meets a boxing trainer and starts boxing.

March 8th

Shaitaan (Hindi, Eng Sub)

  • Kabir and his family’s fun weekend retreat takes a nightmarish turn when they let a friendly but mysterious stranger into their house.

March 13th

      The Trust Fall: Julian Assange

  • A crowd-funded documentary detailing the story of the injustice of the treatment of Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks.

March 14th

Ordinary Angels

  • Inspired by the incredible true story of a hairdresser who single-handedly rallies an entire community to help a widowed father save his critically ill young daughter.

Love Lies Bleeding

  • A romance fuelled by ego, desire and the American dream.
  • Screening at select HOYTS locations.

The Nut Farm

  • A cryptocurrency trader from San Francisco takes over his missing uncle’s macadamia nut farm in the Australian town of Cobweb but soon realises the offer comes with conditions.

Waitress: The Musical

  • The story of Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and rocky marriage.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM (Japanese, Eng Sub)

  • In C.E.75, the fighting continues. There are independence movements and aggression by Blue Cosmos. To calm the situation, a global peace monitoring agency called COMPASS is established, with Lacus as its first president. As members of COMPASS, Kira and his comrades intervene in various regional battles. Then a newly established nation called Foundation proposes a joint operation against a Blue Cosmos stronghold.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire 

  • Frozen Empire sees the Spengler family and the original team back at the iconic NYC firehouse, unveiling a cutting-edge lab to kick ghost-busting up a notch.

Kung Fu Panda 4
