Palazzo Versace

Being the fashion lover I am, I have always wanted to visit and/or stay at the Palazzo Versace. So while I was on the Gold Coast recently, I had a tour of the hotel by the lovely PR manager, Stephanie.

From the moment you drive into the entrance, you are in awe of the beauty and opulence the Palazzo Versace offers.

From the stunning chandelier in the foyer (which once shone bright in the state library of Milan),  to the beautiful marble and mosaic flooring, handcrafted furniture and the gorgeous Versace throw cushions I lusted over in the foyer (I particularly loved the green print. Bottom, left hand corner). The attention to detail was simply amazing.

We were shown one of the Imperial suites and it was absolutely stunning. Below is a picture of the extra large king bed.

Packages to stay at Palazzo Versace start at $514. I’m looking forward to staying on a long weekend early next year.

The Palazzo Versace also offers a Fashionista High Tea and to say it is decadent would be an understatement.

Providing a chic new addition to Le Jardin’s dining offerings, the Fashionista High Tea menu pays  homage to the tradition and artisanship of high tea, featuring an appetizing array of sweet and savoury items on an elegant three-tiered stand. For those seeking a little extra indulgence or  celebrating a special occasion, guests also have the option of upgrading to a ‘Sparkling’, ‘Champagne’ or ‘Couture Champagne High Tea’ – the new Fashionista menu served with a glass of either Domain Chandon Sparkling wine, Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut or Dom Perignon Champagne.
