Peter Alexander Launches Plus Size Range

Peter Alexander Plus

For the past thirty years, Peter Alexander has been known as the go-to shop for all things bedtime. With a pyjama empire including 92 stores across Australia and New Zealand with an annual turnover of $150 million a year, we can see why he is THE pyjama king.

I can still remember my first pair of PA pj’s. They were a pair of blue winter Cookie Monster pyjamas that I had for many years (if you want quality, Peter Alexander pyjamas last forever… well, ok maybe not forever but a very, very long time!).

I’m lucky I fit into a L/ XL sizing at Peter Alexander but a lot of my plus sized friends haven’t been able to wear the brand, even though they wanted to wear the cute designs for years (I’m loving the Vintage Kellogg’s range especially the Frosties flannelette pj set (below, right) and the Take Away Latte harem pj pants (below, left)).

Well, the exciting news is…. now Peter Alexander’s new P.A Plus range is available in sizes 16-26! How fantastic is that?

The sizing of the new Peter Alexander Plus range is +1 (16-18), +2 (20-22) and +3 (24-26). I love when brands realise that we are a diverse community made up of many sizes, be it weight or height. Not everyone fits into the size 8-16 mold and we aren’t just talking about plus size either. I have noticed a lot more stores offering xxs or size 4 and 6 clothing, which is fantastic for our petite friends.

The collection consists of fifteen pieces and fits within the iconic Peter Alexander look with stripes, pastels, florals and of course, penny the daschound (Peter’s dog) makes an appearance.

Here are our favourite pieces from the range:
