Sass and Bide Wish Upon a Star
Sass and Bide have just launched their 3rd annual limited edition ‘Wish upon a Star’ necklace again this year with a gorgeous chain necklace. For only $35.00 the necklace comes in three different colours, gold, silver and rose gold. I just purchased the gold (pictured below).
After a hugely successful first two years of collaboration, Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke of iconic fashion house sass & bide have created another gorgeous necklace, with all proceeds being donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. With both founders mothers of small children the collaboration is close to their heart.
All sales proceeds will be donated to help make wishes come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions. Over the last two years sass & bide raised over $160,000.
The iconic sass & bide star design is a symbol of creative duo Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton’s friendship, inspired by a tattoo which both designers share.
“Our star represents enduring friendship & love, and by partnering with Make-A-Wish® Australia we hope the proceeds of these necklaces can help make a very real difference to the lives of seriously ill children around the country”
To help spread the word this year, sass & bide is calling for all Australians to take a “Star Selfie” – a picture of themselves wearing the necklace, uploaded to their social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, using the #wishuponastar. Like the stars below have!
Sarah-Jane Clarke, co-founder and Brand Director from sass & bide states “What could be more important than helping to bring hope, strength and joy to unwell children and their families. We encourage everyone to use the power of social media to spread the message and work towards building awareness around this important campaign.”
The Limited Edition Wish Upon a Star ‘Make a Wish’ necklace can be purchase by visiting the Sass and Bide website , Sass and Bide boutiques or Sass & Bide concession boutiques in Myer nationally.
It is so good to see Sass & Bide do things like this. Love!
