WSS Beauty: BotanicES Product Review

Having tried literally hundreds of skincare products in the nine years our site has been running, I was somewhat sceptical that an all natural, organic product could produce the same, or better, results as the more expensive “designer” brands on the market. However, the promise that a caffeine based skincare range can produce beautiful, smooth, youthful skin was worth a dry. I drink enough coffee to activate my brain, why not try coffee based products that activates moisturised, smooth, wrinkle free skin?

Enter BotanicES, the miracle (I will get to why I call this range my ‘miracle’ cremes later) skincare range without any nasties. I mean, really, who wants to be putting health affecting chemicals on their skin? The BotanicES skincare range doesn’t contain parabens, detergents, phthalates, petrochemicals, artificial colours or fragrances, nanomaterials and isn’t tested on animals. Even their packaging is fully recyclable.

The range contains the main active ingredient caffeine, jojoba oil, raw coconut oil, Kakadu plum extract and vitamin E. BotanicES is Australian made from Australian sources, which is a huge bonus for me, as I prefer to support Australian products and businesses.

Caffeine has been long been touted for it’s anti-cellulite properties but with new research has widened the spectrum of it’s wondrous hydrating properties to other skincare products. Unlike other products on the market, who use caffeine oil, BotanicES uses a patented method of extracting the superior elements from the bean to provide maximum hydration and results. Coupled with the ingredients above, BotanicES is a super moisturising range that delivers up to 59% added hydration to the skin and improves overall skin elasticity and conditions by up to 50%.

What we thought:

As I mentioned int he opening paragraph, I was somewhat sceptical that a caffeine based creme would do a lot to my skin. However, from the first application I noticed a huge difference in my skin tone and texture. My skin felt really smooth.  The face creme and eye creme are gentle enough to use twice a day and the results are amazing. My skin is incredibly smooth and the slight wrinkles I had at the corners of my eyes have gone. I had dry patches on my cheeks and they have disappeared.

The product I loved the most was the body creme, to say this is absolutely fantastic is an understatement. Dry patches on my arms and legs are gone, a patch of eczema near my wrist has gone and I have beautiful smooth skin. My skin also has a health glow to it.

I love that the products are Australian made and sourced. Being eco friendly is also incredibly important.

Would I buy the BotanicES range again? Absolutely! This has to be THE best range of products I have tried. To have cleared up my dry skin and eczema without any stinging or harsh chemicals is such a relief.
