WSS Style: Boyfriend Jeans

The boyfriend style has been around in different variances since the late 80s/early 90s and it doesn’t look like it is going away anytime soon.

Personally, this is my signature look… casual jeans, tee and blazer or long line cardi. Ankle boots, loafers or ballets to finish the outfit off.

It really is a casual, stylish timeless look.

So how can you make this look work for you? Tres easy!

Boyfriend jeans have never gone out of favour (except when skinny jeans were in flavour over the last few years. Thankfully, the Mum jean and boyfriend jean trend looks like it is back and stronger than ever!), so you can wear your worn out jeans to your hearts content. Comfortable yet stylish, you can never look bad in boyfriend jeans. Just add some cute flats, ankle boots or heels, fold up the hem of the jeans and you are good to go.

Favourites:

If you want a pair you could wear from day to night, find a pair of Mum or boyfriend jeans that don’t have rips or tears. A good pair of jeans will take you into night time. Meaning, you would be safe to walk into any restaurant or bar without strange looks or disobeying their dress code.

Evening looks:

Pop one of the black blazer above over the top of either of these gorgeous tops to keep out the winter chill. Team with a stunning pair of heels (Personally, I am lusting after the ). Add a statement necklace to the lace top to add some interest.

I would add a basic necklace and earrings to the embellished tank, you don’t want to be too OTT (over the top) with bling.

What is your favourite look for next season? I think this has to be mine.
