Once a year for the last 24 years, the Melbourne Exhibition building comes alive, literally. With beautiful floral arrangement, stunning gardens, landscaping ideas and trade stands there are a million and one things to be inspired by.
The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, at the World Heritage Listed Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens, is set to return in 2019 with an explosion of colour and design and after 20 years still remains the biggest annual flower and garden show in the Southern Hemisphere!
The show will see the creativity and passion of Australia’s top floral and landscape designers delivered in stunning displays, as well as a strong environmental message for gardening in this climate. We have been attending the show every year for over 8 years and it is a great event for all of the family to enjoy.
Coupled with an extensive array of garden and floral retail products from rare and unusual plants to your old favourites, gardening tools to outdoor furniture, water tanks to floral art plus many new and innovative idea’s for your garden, as well as great food and entertainment for the whole family, this is certainly a ‘must see’ event for all ages. With a selection of international designers headlining the Show Gardens and new features inside the Great Hall, organisers are predicting record crowds.
Once again the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show will be opening it’s gates for a night to remember! Visitors attending Gardens by Twilight will enjoy a night of delicious drinks & gourmet eats whilst exploring everything else the Show has to offer with gates open until 9.00PM on Friday 29th March. This exclusive opportunity to see the Show Gardens and Floral Designs in a whole new light and enjoy the ambience of the beautifully lit Carlton Gardens. All of the daytime Show features will be open, in addition to exclusive Gardens by Twilight content. Live music, lights, bars, inspirational floral & landscape designs. This is not to be missed.
