How to wear a white shirt 4 different ways
#SP
A timeless white shirt is the perfect canvas for a variety of stylish looks and can be dressed up or down for a range of occasions. From interviews to evenings out, here are four elegant ways to wear a classic white shirt.
INTERVIEW:
Your choice of interview attire will be viewed as an indicator of how serious you are about getting the job. It is better to look overly formal than too casual and a white tailored shirt is an interview staple. A dark two-piece is always the best option especially at a conservative company. You can easily personalise a trouser suit or a coordinating skirt and jacket with jewellery.
WORK:
Your work wardrobe wouldn’t be complete without a crisp white shirt. This traditional office garment exudes professionalism and can easily be styled with separates and accessories. Liven up your white shirt with tapered trousers, killer heels and a vibrant silk scarf. If you work in a casual environment, a blazer thrown over a white shirt and black jeans looks relaxed yet smart.
EVENING:
To take your white shirt from the office to off-duty drinks, simply style it with striking jewellery and bright red lipstick. For an elegant evening event, a white shirt tucked into a statement skirt and accessorised with a simple clutch exudes timeless glamour.
WEEKEND:
For a laidback look, you really can’t go wrong with jeans teamed with a white button down shirt, layered underneath a cashmere jumper. This classic combination always looks cool and casual. Alternatively a white shirt tucked into statement print trousers and comfortable pumps is fresh and contemporary.

I love a crisp white shirt, but if I’m not careful I feel like I’m wearing a tablecloth at the end of the day!

White shirts are so classic and look great not tucked in, for a casual air. With a coloured boot leg shaped trouser leg (not black – I don’t want someone to give me a food or drink order), it gives a fresh and living ambience to your persona

I’d wear it with blue jeans and a black tee. It’s a beautiful blouse.
