Mummy’s love (and need) chocolate…. it is an essential part of our diet (and helps with hormones and our sanity at THOSE times of the month). OK, so it may not be an essential part of our diet but cocoa is a good antioxidant and chocolate produces the same ‘feel good’ feeling that…. erm.. ‘getting intimate’ does. So it must be good for us, right? I have always been a chocolate lover and we usually buy a family block of Cadbury Dairy Milk every week. I figure a bit here and there won’t hurt…. after all moderation is the key, isn’t it? If you don’t deprive yourself of your favourite things then you won’t end up having a guilt trip from scoffing every bit of ‘bad’ food within reach after a few days of cutting out all of your favourite things, will you?
I was very excited to receive the new Cadbury Bar of Plenty range, which consists of Roast Hazelnut and Honey Roast Cashews or Berry Fruit and Vanilla Shortcake. Cadbury had been trying to concoct different mixtures with their dairy milk chocolate and came up with this two products, which I secretly think they are onto a winner. Nuts and chocolate have always gone together and the Roast Hazelnut and Honey roast cashews block does not dissapoint. The honey cashews give it a lovely flavour. The berry fruit and vanilla shortcake is really nice too, you can really taste the dried berries throughout the chocolate. I preferred the Roast Hazelnut and Honey Roast Cashews and might buy it as an alternative the Dairy Milk we usually buy for a bit of a change.
If you want to try these new flavours, Cadbury will send ten readers a gift of two family sized Bar of Plenty blocks – one of each of the new flavours. All you have to do is tell us in 25 words or less why you NEED to try Cadbury’s new Bar of Plenty range. Enter here with your answer, name and address so we can send them out to you. Good luck!
